1. How do I register? You can register by clicking on the "Register Your Site" link on the lower left bottom of the page.

2. What happens after I submit my registration? Within 24 hours you will receive an e-mail stating that your account has been activated.

3. How long does it take for my registration to be accepted? Usually within a few hours but up to 24 hours.

4. How many stories can I submit? You can submit your very best one for each category that you fit.

5. How long does it take for my stories to be moderated and posted? Usually within a few hours but up to 24 hours.

6. What consists as an Established Site? The site has to be at least one year old OR have at least 200 articles.

7. What consists as a New Site? Anything less then a year old and less then 200 articles.

8. How long does a voting period last? The voting period last for three months.

9. If my article wins, what do I win? You will receive a tag for your site stating winner for the category you won in.

10. How do I know when to submit for the next voting period? The Satire Awards will send out an e-mail three weeks before the new period starts so the members can start submitting articles. At the beginning of the new period all articles that have been submitted will be added to the site all together.

12. How do I link to thesatireawards.com? There is a link to us tag on
the middle left side of every page.

13. If I submit more than one article in per category, what happens? Any Satire site that submits more then one story per category will have the newest submission sent to the Honorable Mention page.

14. Can I change what article I have listed in a category? The Satire Awards will allow two changes per member in a single voting period.

15. Can I vote for the same article more than once a day? No. Any and all users can only vote for one article in each category per day.

16. Who is The Satire Awards? We are just 2 retards who have always been interested in reading great satire articles. We wanted to provide a place where everyone could see all the best in one place.

17. How are votes tabulated? Votes are automatically tabulated within our MySQL database. They are not manually tabulated and are completely fair.

18. Is the system fair? Yes, the system is very fair. The only catch is, you should submit your stories at the beginning of the submission period so you can get a longer exposure and more votes. You snooze you lose. There is no favoritism here.

19. My favorite site isn't listed on here, can I nominate them? No, but you can let them know to apply so they can get in the running too.

20. Why don't I see articles from The Onion, The Toque or BBSpot? I don't know. Ask them!

21. It hurts when I pee, what should I do?
